Because of the high energy efficiency, regenerative energy sources may be applied to the utmost extent, i. e. in particular such energy sources of which their output capacity would not suffice for conventional heating/cooling systems. However, even if and when applying non-regenerative energy sources, the Hippokrates-System will nevertheless enable a considerable energy costs reduction. As consequence of the low inlet temperature and because of the extensive employment of regenerative energy sources, total energy costs savings of up to 90% may be achievable.
